Meet the Staff

Robert "Bob" Goldsberry, Executive Director.  As the Executive Director for the Chamber, I work with the Office Manager to ensure good communication with all the avenues that come with this job. This Chamber of Commerce is responsible for tourism, Main Street, events and economic growth. I am the cornerstone for the Rusk Economic Development Corporation, the City of Rusk and the Chamber of Commerce. Together these three entities have a partnership and together they facilitate the creation and retention of quality jobs and significant capital investment, resulting in a higher standard of living and a better quality of life for Rusk, Texas. Connie Brown, Office Manager & Event Coordinator.  As office manager of a two person office, I have a wide variety of duties from accounting to planning & executing events. This is a very challenging position requiring flexibility, initiative, and imagination. My skills and abilities from past experiences have prepared me for this position. I start thinking of all the preparations that can be done ahead of time to make adjustments in the day to day operation, knowing that schedules can change at a minutes notice.
